Personality: Mellow and comes off as somewhat depressive but really isn't. She's a bit of a jokester and sometimes irrational (not thinking twice and can become irritated very easily). She tends to try to live each day like it's the last!
Period point- Before Pomni shows up, (currently abstracted)
Appearance: Braylie is a powder blue plush donkey (amateurly stitched together) with a light yellow ribbon, patched up with random cloths, and seems to be wearing a hospital gown. Her bedroom is similar to a hospital room with an infinite hourglass by her bedside and a ticking clock in front of her bed. Her patches have a white heart shaped patch with rainbow hand prints on her chest, a pink patch with broken hearts in her lower area, a yellow beige patch with wilting roses on her side, and one plain patch that's a slightly darker light blue than the rest of her body. She has cartoonish plastic eyes that seem similar to a cheap 70s or 80s stuffed animal trying to reference old 30s cartoons. She has a yellow muzzle, yellow plush hooves, and also has yellow mitten hands with a lighter yellow spot in her palms similar to a paw pad. She has red and blue ball pins pinning her flat fabric cutout tail to her body.
Backstory (WIP): Braylie before the circus was suffering from a terminal illness. She originally went into the circus willingly, not knowing that she was going to be trapped there. She offered to be a paid "game tester", and, because she needed the money for her hospital bills, she took it. Her reaction was mainly confusion and completely taking it as a game, treating the other characters as NPCs for a while until she realized.. These are people too. She struggles with the fact she can comprehend her own mortality (as she was told, given her time to come to acceptance) but she cannot comprehend the fact she's immortal in the game.
It's hinted that she has dealt with severe objectification, and is learning to not be ashamed of her own self and stop dehumanizing herself. (Was originally a sex worker out of desperation) She has a hard time trusting people and is a bit reactionary and needs to take a step back process. Bray was also in medical school very temporarily before her disease got worse, causing her to drop out. An unlucky girl.
Mild vent art… I’ve wanted to draw a piece like this for a while actually but the Jorge Gutierrez fiasco yesterday motivated me to finally get it done. 😑
So here’s Jade’s stance on gen ai. (In case anyone didn’t catch it, the extra fingers on the hand are a common error in ai slop)
