Sedum morganianum (Donkey’s tail)
Baby, it’s cold outside, so maybe this is a good day for a little indoor fun.
Donkey’s tail is a common succulent but most garden resources say that it flowers only intermittently when grown indoors. We’ve had this one for over twenty years and it’s flowered many times. Also, supposedly, it only blooms in summer. Obviously our Donkey’s tail didn’t get the memo, because, as you can see, it’s flowering in February.
My tiny baby burro's tail was grown from a single leaf I found on the floor. She is nearly 2 years old!
