hi all, i want to take some time to address a couple things on this blog that i have yet to do so but wanted to as they are incredibly important.
first off, as i’m sure many of you are aware, the u.s. is a place of disarrary and pain right now with the abuse of black people by police (therefore normalizing racism among non-police as well). i have this to say about it: ACAB. i, in no way, support police. i fully stand with the black lives matter movement and for the dismantlement of the incredibly corrupt and racist police force.
secondly, the month of june is the month of pride. i’m queer and genderqueer, i don’t have time for homophobic/transphobic assholes.
this blog is not a place for people not supporting the blm movement, racists, TERFs/SWERFs, homophones, and the like. i try to cultivate a comforting space where people can see cool photos of plants, and i want to make sure people know that it’s a safe area. while i haven’t posted anything about current events on this blog, posts can be found on my other blog here
just wanted to make sure all of you know where i stand. also, please stay safe if you are going to any protests!!
