if you're looking for a great book to read, well here ya go! it's a Kindle Unlimited book, or you can buy it full price for under $5. this book follows the life of Maude, from her birth to her death. born in the late 1890s, Maude's simple life which begins in Dyer Co, TN, (which is relatively close to where im from btw) and ends in Detroit, MI. it is filled with sorrow; through losing loved ones, an unwanted marriage, and the great depression, she manages to survive and keep her faith strong. this was an extremely emotional book to me, and it shared a point of view of the past which can be so terribly hard to imagine sometimes. as a mom, esp, I was very moved by this book. it was beautifull written by Maude's own granddaughter, Donna, who complied this book from writing down all the stories her grandmother used to tell her. I hope you enjoy this as much as I did!
