Hi friends! Right now, in this time of strife, it's important to do such activities as:
1. CALL YOUR SENATORS!
(not because they actually do anything, but because they are REQUIRED to "look or listen to" ALL messages. Now of course, they have people like interns, assistants & clerks do this instead...but it slows the wheels!)
2. Keep up the good work on social media. I know that the Tumblr community is *particularly* effective at executing this tactic.
3. Stop buying where you can, and start giving where you can. We are mostly forced to buy our essentials from D***WADS like Wally-Mart and Hammy-Zon, (censorship applied so they aren't lured here) but 1 way you can circumvent this is by giving to causes close to your heart. The great news about that is, economic studies have proven that money given to an individual consumer, rather than a Mega Corp, goes 10× farther in the money cycle. Meaning any donation to a trusted cause will also touch the causes of those around them, as well. This is how we keep the cycle of awareness & kindness reviving!
