so funny little thought i wanted to share about seeing sourcemates on this blog

everytime i've seen kinfessions on here from my brothers (talking about two difference sources entirely but i'll just refer them collectively as my brothers) i just get so excited and happy.

it's just me pointing at them and saying "that's them! those are my brothers! i love these guys! (platonically of course)" i don't really know why since i don't have many memories to go off of (besides from that one random memory of larry calling me little buddy) other than guessing my canons were canon compliant but i just get so happy seeing them every time.

i am wishing all larry, leo, raph, and mikey kins to all have a good time because you all deserve it.

girl help i think i just gave my friend a kin awakening (idk if that's the right term but it's the best i have). i think i accidentally made my friend realize he's mikey from rottmnt. the plus side of this is that i have at least one of my brother's back, the downside is the crippling anxiety that comes with wanting to talk about kin experiences (or just in general the anxiety is relentless).

i have finally won for once when it comes to fictionkin stuff, it may be for a kin that isn't the current shift but screw it, donnie wins!

I'm teaching myself how to code and wowowow I am getting so much kin euphoria from it. I wasn't a video game dev as Donnie (which is what I'm trying to be now) but just. Doing computer stuff. Makes me happy. Keyboard go clicky clack make things happen on the computer -Donnie (#✨🌂🍽️)

I find it pretty weird how the fandom sees Mikey as the "therapy brother" because not only is that, not really supported by the show (except in a single episode) it also doesn't match up with how I remember him at all. Sure, if he noticed one of us was dealing with a problem he'd want to help, but 1) he wasn't actually very good at helping most of the time and 2) we didn't like, go to him with our problems, especially if we were dealing with emotional stuff; if anything, we were more likely to talk to Raph about that (which, was an issue by itself tbh, but this ask is already pretty long)

Tl;dr, just because someone is emotional doesn't mean they're equipped to handle other people's emotions, Mikey isn't the therapy brother even in canon. -Donnie, rottmnt (#✨🌂🍽️)
