It Has Been Quite a While
I told myself to be consistent,
To dedicate and not be distant.
Funny, since were all keeping our distance,
And it’s hard to be out of nonexistence.
I told myself that distance was my friend,
And that life was looking up for me.
I was wrong, my introvert was a monster,
To text someone and say I miss them and actually mean it.
It tore me apart from others memories,
And I came to forget others as well.
I was alone with...loneliness,
I came to miss the interactions with others.
Do not take for granted the people in your life.
