The Blame Us

Adults blame our generation for growing up too fast. But have they thought on what they are doing? At age 2, you give your kid an ipad At age 9, you buy them a phone and fancy clothes At age 12, you take her to parties with her face filled with makeup/or him with all the "trendy clothes" At age 14, you want them to start thinking about college. The school takes them to college fairs At age 16, he/she is taking more tests that they can keep track of At 17, their life is expected to be figured out At 18, when they are leaving to college; you stop and think: "they grow up too fast" Did they grow up too fast? Or did you make them grow up too fast?
