The door creaked as it swung open, and Im winced at the sound, her hand tightening on the gun at her side. Alright, this shouldn't be hard: get it, find the locket, burn it, get out. Peering into the darkness of the abandoned house, Im groaned. Old antiques littered the floor, along with some broken beer bottles and cigarettes. So much for an easy salt-n-burn; now she had to sort through all the discarded junk in the house without letting the ghost get to her first. Perfect.

In the entryway, Im paused, turning towards the open door behind her as a small sound caught her attention.

He had done it again, he had lost control and it had nearly resulted in the death of yet another human. Instead of attacking, he had gained enough thought to run far away before he could end a human's life.  He was still partially transformed; his claws out and his eyes hybrid black. He found himself in a head on collision with someone and he fell onto his back. "Sorry!" He said, his voice a little more like a growl than a normal human voice, but it was still understandable.

CLOSED: Dad's House

Charlotte had gone to sleep roughly three hours before the sound of shattered glass woke her. Quickly, she followed John's instructions and grabbed the gun from under the bed. She'd done this a few times before, but never without John. It wasn't like she couldn't handle herself, but she didn't like to. You could say she was a lot like John in that way. If she didn't have to deal with monsters or ghosts or witches, she prefered not to. But now it came into the house and she didn't know what to do. Charlotte was only staying there for the night. Tomorrow, she would stay with Bobby. It was all planned out, but Bobby was away until tomorrow and Charlotte was having trouble walking down the stairs. She'd never been alone during this. 

Cautiously, the girl tip toed down the stairs and looked into the sitting room. Her eyes went wide when she saw Sam Winchester in the sitting room with a broken mirror at his feet, looking as though he wasn't sure what'd happened. They'd never officially met, but she knew his face. Maybe it was an accident and he bumped the mirror. Whatever the reason he looked upset. Charlotte narrowed her eyes and quickly walked down the rest of the stairs. She set the gun down -- a very stupid thing to do -- and walked toward the mirror.

"Just what do you think you're doing?" she growled, picking up the pieces from the broken design. "That was Mary's. Was it really necessary to destroy it?"
