1. A song that altered your brain chemistry Answered this one here! Nine in the Afternoon by Panic! At The Disco!
7. A song that puts you into a creative mood This one definitely fluctuates but I'd say recently Sun Killer by Spiritbox has been that for me!
26. A song you want to sue for emotional damages Answered this one here! I Will Follow You into the Dark by Death Cab for Cutie.
34. 4 songs that would be featured on the soundtrack of a movie you directed Number one is the orchestral version of Animals by Architects. When I shared this rec with my brother his initial reaction was 'this has the vibe of the credits sequence for an apocalypse movie' and I have to hardcore agree. Not that I would necessarily direct an apocalypse movie, but I probably would, actually, given the chance. The entire re-recording of the Architects album For Those That Wish to Exist with orchestral backing is fucking epic and I highly recommend it. So that's what's going to close things out. What about the opening? For the fourth wall potential/situational irony it's of course going to be It's the End of the World As We Know It (And I Feel Fine) by REM. I'm imagining this is playing as the backing to an opening sequence for someone who was billed as the big star of the movie (à la Drew Barrymore in Scream or Emma Roberts in The Hunt) navigating the early days of the apocalypse and then probably dying in a spectacularly bloody way (sorry did I only say apocalypse? it's apocalyptic horror. c'mon. it's me.) I'm thinking a good vibe for introducing our losergirl protagonist (or maybe several of them) who were already going through it before the fucking apocalypse happened would be Blame Me by The Pretty Reckless. The world is ending and people are dying left and right and somehow her car is still getting towed and she just got dumped by her situationship but at least she can't get fired because she was actually laid off months ago and the job hunt is slowly killing her but at least that probably isn't really a problem anymore now? Fuck if she knows. That's the vibe. Lastly Ain't Our Time to Die by Dorothy right before the main conflict of the movie, as whoever is left (notably at least one of our losergirl protagonists and those that have joined up with her along the way) is preparing for whatever it is they're about to face. Maybe also a little bit on the nose, but maybe that's just my style. Actually, I know it is.
