Wow you love The Girl Who Leapt Through Time too?! :o It's definitely one of my favourite animated movies! I haven't found anyone else that likes it as much as I do ;-; SIGHH!! The ending tore me apart because I wanted to know for sure about the future for them (I'm being very vague because I'm trying not to spoil it for anyone if you publish this anyway). I don't like movies that leave me wondering :/ What is your favourite part? I think the whole thing is amazing so I don't have one haha ;)

IT'S DEFINITELY AMONG MY FAVORITES. I've only talked a precious few people that even know about the movie. THE ENDING THOUGH. I'm basically a puddle of messy, gross feelings by the end of the movie. I really do prefer solid (preferably happy) endings, and bittersweet and open-ended just doesn't do it for me. I just love the characters too much, and it's not enough that it was just a one-shot movie. I've been following Mamoru Hosoda's stuff since then, but haven't yet found something of his that I liked as much as Tokikake. 

@___@ A favorite part...you MEAN PARTS, RIGHT? I have too many to count, but if I had to pick one (staying vague in case anyone is going to watch it, which I highly recommend), I think it'd be the flashback during the final leap. Because, I just. The FRIENDSHIP. Especially the shot with the red umbrella. It just says everything about how they are with each other.
