Something special about puppetry over CGI in a live action movie is that puppets can look like the spirt of a thing instead of the thing itself. Which is incredibly important when the thing itself doesn't physically exist.

Can I request yan Jareth with someone who loves books and finds the library in his castle and his reaction to finding them reading
A Gift - Jareth x Reader
I loved writing this! If anyone has any fic ideas, I am all ears! I hope you enjoy and have a nice day.
He knew she would find it. She was supposed to find it. It was for her, every book. Every novel, every tale, every chapter. He made it for her. It didn't take much. Barely any magic at all really, but it was everything. Through his crystal he watched her eyes scan the room. Saw her face go from curiosity and awe. It takes her no time to find a book and wander to the bay window. Overlooking her beloved gardens.
Hours she spent in there, losing track of time. He watched as her expressions moved with every scene of the book. Gradually her bows furrowed more. Gasps in horror, closing the book shut with a satisfying snap. He chuckles to himself, great pride swelling in him that she loves her gift so much. Prideful in her ability to care so deeply about all she does.
He throws the ball in the air, appearing under one of the staircases of the many stories of the library. An adoring gaze falls on his love, as she tears up from the book. "What troubles you, my heart?" He asks his voice like silk. He sits in the window, bringing her in his lap. Holding her tightly, as her head falls to his chest.
"She doesn't love him. All he wants is to be loved." She mumbled, and he couldn't help but giggle. "It's not funny!"
"Of course, not my dear, how dreadful." He teases with a toothy grin; he leans in and kisses her. It wasn't a passionate kiss, not long. Just enough, sweet and short. she smiles as they pull away, he dries her cheeks. "There is my smile." He mused glancing over and picking up the book. "What do you think my dear, should I destroy it? You will never have to cry again. Or is our love enough?" He searches her eyes, and she takes the book away and cradles it to her chest.
"Ours is more than enough."
