The Stranger
(Entry for the Don’tKnock blog week It’stheBlob is doing. Gonna make part 2 soon and that’s all. Might continue it, Idk yet.) The portal worked to his surprise. Wilson smiled with excitement. He couldn’t handle it anymore. He spent years trying to get it to work. And finally, it did. “Finally! I’m out of this place!” He exclaimed. He jumped into the portal. He screamed as he ended up falling quite a few feet and landing on his stomach. He groaned in pain and rubbed his head. He got up and looked around. His eyes widened as he was in a dead forest surrounded by eerie trees that looked like they had sharp claws and were just itching to grab you if you got too close. “This isn’t my home....” He said as he started to walk. He hoped he was just a little distance from his house. His mood quickly changed when he saw lights in a distance. He started running to the light, staggering over some roots along the way. He smiled as he got closer and closer. Wilson burst through the branches. His smile quickly changed to a frown as he saw it wasn’t his house. It was a completely different and overall just...weird house. It didn’t look like any house he ever saw. He couldn’t put into words just how strange the house was. The structural integrity and design of the house was strange and gave him a sense of unease. (It’ll just be for the night.) He thought to himself as he started walking towards it. Unbeknownst to him, he didn’t know the owner would be in his own deadly world. Lodger covered his face in his hands as he hid behind his telescope. He hoped the guest didn’t notice him. He blinked and quickly looked up when he heard the knocking. The guest was already gone. He continued staying hidden, afraid to come out. He muttered to himself as he quickly got out of his hiding spot when the knocking continued, more louder this time. He shuffled downstairs and walked through the rooms as quickly and quietly as he could. He unlocked the door and opened a crack. His eyes widened as he saw the black haired gentleman standing in front of him. He hadn’t seen a human in so long that he got used to the knocking being anything but an actual person. He opened the door wider. Lodger: “Hello?” Wilson: “Hey there. Uhm erm, I think I’m lost. Would it be alright if I spent the night? I don’t have anywhere to go.” His face flushed red in embarrassment as he waited for the shorter ginger man to answer. Lodger opened the door wider. Wilson quickly noticed the disheveled, tired look the man possessed. Lodger: “You’re welcome to spend the night. It’s dangerous out there.” He stepped to the side and Wilson quickly walked in. Lodger closed the door behind him. Lodger: “Would you like tea?” Wilson: “I’d love some tea.” Lodger nodded and walked into the kitchen. Wilson looked around while he followed him. Even the inside was strange. Wilson sat down at the table and watched Lodger turn the stove on and fill a kettle with water. Wilson: ‘My name is Wilson P. Higgsbury. What’s your name?” Lodger cussed in Russian quietly. He didn’t know how to respond to the question. He put the kettle on the stove and quickly started thinking of an answer. Lodger: “Name? Uh yeah, name.... Hm, you can call me Lodger.” Wilson: “It’s nice to meet you, Lodger.” Lodger: It’s nice to meet you too.”

Don’t Knock week - prompt 6 - weird book, or, ‘how the lodger got banned from fanfiction.net’
It’s unlikely that his project would have succeeded because the Lodger doesn’t know how to make magic books and probably would somehow have lost his pile of papers anyway, but it’s best to be cautious when someone decides to just try to summon a deerclops.

Don’t knock week - bonus prompt a - favorite DST skin/invent a fake skin. Victorian Wilson + whatever lodger is wearing! I was saving this doodle back for a day when I didn’t draw anything for the main prompt :p

This treatment was real and a thing they really did
Don’t Knock week - prompt 7 - we can survive together
I dont think pep talks are going to save this situation. I think he’s just going to grab items other people need and then AFK in the corner where somehow, nothing will aggro on him and kill him to drop the stuff until it’s way too late
