A report was given that morning of the largest 'blip' these Privates (soldiers) had ever seen. Thier superior office, inexperienced in radar, told them not to worry about it as they were expecting a delivery plane. One too many missed and ignored communications. 2400+ lives lost. Not knowing does not exempt us from the fallout, especially in today's political climate. Ignorance of the law (or history) is no excuse and does give us a free pass.
