The IPhone tragedy.

So there was this older woman in my psychology class last year. She was okay for the first couple weeks. We had Dr. Haller and one thing you learn with Haller is she doesn't take any shit. Well our first test came around and this woman( We will call her T) came running in because she thought it was more important to smoke before going to take the test. Haller looks up and rolls her eyes as we all have already started our tests and we aren’t allowed to come in late. Haller was in a good mood though so she allowed T to take the test. Halfway through the test though a phone starts going off. One thing to know about Haller is she hates electronics in her class especially phones. So all the sudden Haller shoots out of her chair and starts screaming, “Who the fuck is dumb enough to leave their sound on?” Well T was in the back huffing and puffing because 1) she is dying of lung cancer from smoking a pack a day and 2) she had no idea how to work her iPhone that was currently screeching. Here comes Haller with her 4‘9 rage barreling toward the sound of this phone while T is screaming at it like the screeching will magically stop. Guess what? It didn't stop. Haller is now hovering over her and demanding for her phone, but even Haller doesn't know how to make it stop (Haller has a flip phone by the way) so she is just flailing the phone around while everyone is staring. Keep in mind we were in the middle of a test and no one wanted to say anything. Haller finally just gave up on trying to understand our other worldly technology and decided to target the nearest student. Haller basically throws this phone at a poor bystander while telling them to turn that shit off before she breaks it. T is in tears now because Haller is mad at her and is about to kick her out of the test so she decides to start bullshitting her way out of it by saying that’s her daughters phone and she didn't know how to put it on silent. Once again this is bull shit because she has had this phone all year, and Haller is having none of it so she finally just tells her to shut the fuck up and to never bring her phone into the class again or she would break it the next time. T finally just turned into a blubbering mess and finished her test while the rest of us were stuck watching Haller contain herself.

So once again thank you T for ruining my psychology class.
