Have you looked to see if there are any internship opportunities for research assistants or something? I know that's not a paying job but it still looks great on a resume and it doesn't involve talking in front of people and it can be in your field

right now i’m an intern at a school (mostly because i have too, since my degree involves teaching and i’ll have to be a teacher for them for one day to get a grade so i can graduate), but what i actually want is to work as a reviser (or translator) for a company. my dad knows some people, since he’s been working at companies for over 20 years now, but i don’t want to rely on him to get me a job

I'm gonna say probably not. He's a music major and probably a jr or senior and he works at the rock wall. It's just weird. I've seen him around for years, but never said more than "hello" and "thank you".

The other night when I was drunk blogging, he was at the same party. We talked about something. I don't remember what; it was inconsequential. But I decided to add him on facebook yesterday because we have a whole bunch of friends in common. And I guess he was on my mind from that. 

He's not unattractive, so it wasn't cringe-worthy or anything. I woke up in the middle of the night, grinning, but the dream wasn't even x-rated either. It was like cuddling and first kiss and pda crap.
