Thank you for reading Don't wake me this story was inspired by the song Don't Wake Me by Skillet I know this story isn't much compare to some of my other ones but I've been in there slump for awhile, and I haven't written a story in awhile for that reason, i've probably been saying that for my other stories I written this year 😅 let's just say it's that kind of yeah with dealing of writers block and slumps. Chapter 10 You're like a lovely dream I don't want to wake up from

Claire came over to my place and I didn't know she came over, I was walking downstairs and I noticed a figure outside The front door I realise it was Claire she was walking away  I calls out for her "Claire !"  I runs out the door after her. I catch up to Claire I'm standing there breathing heavily I look at her so adoringly "I need you, You make my life less shit you're like a lovely dream I never want to wake up from before the bright  sunlight wakes me up please stay, don't wake me from this stream"  Claire she had tears swelling up in your eyes "I won't, I promise" she says softly.

Don't wake me

Chapter 9 I know

I'm upstairs I my room I'm next to my wardrobe I start unbuttoning my shirt, I hear the front door open I walk over to my door and lock it, I put on my shirt at sleep in I lie down in my bed I close my eyes and take a nap.

Time skip a couple hours later

Sometime later I wakes up I notice it's dark outside, I here's a noise and I go down to investigate I'm on the staircase and sees my dad setting on the couch in the lounge room, I realises that was the noise I go back upstairs yo my room. I'm sitting in class next Claire, Claire notices the bruise on my arm I can see the warrior no eyes she hugs me "Please stay with me just for a bit then I would know you're safe".

Flashback a couple of nights ago

Charles's mum doesn't care her husband beats there son. My dad pushes me against the wall and punches me in the stomach I grown in pain.

Out of  flashback

After school Claire told me something  that hit me hard I had to go out to her. "Claire wait, I know my parents not love me they treat me like shit, but I care about you".

Don't wake me

Chapter 8 Peaceful day

I open the front door and the house is quiet nobody is home I put my jacket on the stair railing, the house had the sense of peace around, I go upstairs to my room I get dressed into my school uniform, I goes downstairs and do some ironing on one of my shirts for school,

I into the kitchen and have some coffee. i'm looking at myself in the mirror and I style my hair dyed the bandage on my forehead, I walked out the door and go to school. I am walking down the path I see Claire I wrap my arms around her and kiss her on the cheek. I had a normal typical day at school, I'm sitting in class staring out the window. Synonym for school day ended I walk home with my with my big fluffy coat on.
