Biking on a perfect Saturday
EB and I decided to do a Capital City bike ride today. I was a bit apprehensive that it was just gonna be the two of us because I've only done the circuit once, led by the very competent EC, and EB has absolutely no sense of direction so the chances are high that we'd get lost. Even so, we took the plunge.
We managed the first half of the ride fine but got lost for around 30 mins halfway through the loop, which was kind of embarrassing. Nevertheless, we managed to get back on track and back to the bike rental place before closing time.
Tired and sweaty and not able to walk properly, we stumbled to Dessert Story and ordered a huge ice tower like thing to share.
Later that night I had dinner with WY, who was back from sydney for job interviews. Went to a Korean barbecue place called DonWoori. I'm not a big fan of Korean barbecue places as you always end up smelling like food at the end of the meal but I told WY she could choose so I'll just have to suck it up with it.
So much meat! It was all meat! OMG. Not exactly the kind of thing I usually go for as there was just too. much. meat. The whole f-ing thing was meat. 4-5 kinds of beef cooked differently. I'm sure there are people who like this kind of thing, like WY and all the other happy looking customers in there, but, uggggh.
