@klanced i was feeling really bad today until i remembered something you made me wanna draw so now we’re here and i dont feel bad any more =3

but anyhow, meet katon, the previously unnamed galra baby! also know as kitty by the voltron crew (you can thank keith and his a+ nicknaming skills for that) and kitten when lance gets sentimental

the general idea here is that in those first two, that katon after her pod/ship (which she was in with her parents and other galras) was shot down by a rebel group. she was the only survivor (and gained a scar on her right side of her face from a burn wound), and even the rebels had issues killing a toddler in cold blood. so they kept in a less than pleasant baby room while they continued to fight the galra and could decide what to do with her. at which point, the voltron crew shows up, kicks butt, and goes ‘what the fuck you cant treat a BABY like this’ and take the poor child off their hands.

lance mcfreakin attaches since he’s one of the 2-3 who knows how to handle toddlers/kids and eats up the attention she gives him in return, and likes to take her to the star map and show her earth. and also dress her up in anything cute (and blue) he can find. katon attaches back and in particular likes lance’s jacket and tends to cling to it when she can.

on a side note, for being the first time drawing either a baby or lance, they didnt turn out too bad
