I'm trying to get a grip on the Loomis to see if it'll improve my drawing.
I'm also trying to do away with the idea of drawing lines and trying to get more in the mindset of drawing shapes and creating depth

Meet Len.
I'm gonna give it a try because I'm doodoo at this.
And I'm gonna do it in pen so as to force myself to get better. No erasing. Either I roll with the mistakes, or I improve and actually git good. Hopefully I'll be better by the end of the month. 😊
I skipped many days. But it's fine.
This one is inspired by ghost of tsushima legends.
I've drawn way better oni faces but I'm okay with this. The body proportions look good too me, although the wrinkles are a little too uniform on his left leg. fingers look a little janky but I'm happy I succeeded on the arm position because it was my first time 😊
He has a classic kinda hips out, lean back, look to him that you get when you think of like Shinobi, Tenchu, Hattori Hanzo's depiction in damn near any thing.
Day 8.
I really wasn't a fan of this one when I started and looking at the pictures it's very clear I can't draw lines or 90° angles for that matter. But I worked my way to it being less garbage than it originally was.
This first one is a middle finger to the perfectionist and symmetrically obsessed me. I was okay with this.
This garbage, I had intention for.
Low angle, looking up, catching a glimpse of the face of the curb.. But I fucked up the moment I made the angles too narrow.
This is my NoZero for Inkytober.
Shhh. I haven't slept yet. This is Day 3 still.
This is Melvin. He's actually quite deadly! But he's a swell little guy.
