A Year of Making - Day 37

I'm super struggling with motivation today. my picture today is just one corner of my... I guess Maker Space would be the most apt description.

Empty boxes - one that will be kept and used as long term storage because it makes me happy (spoilers; it's the macintosh box, don't judge me)

a file drawer cabinet that just needs to be gone. it's empty, and the drawer rollers are so old and warped that they don't open smoothly or easily anymore...

cosplay props in disarray... part of my yarn stash... a very warped paper sorting cube the l that I only built recently, but haven't decided how best to use it... my sewing machine & all the bits of flotsam that goes along with sewing... and just various odds & ends that don't currently have a home

maybe my project for this week will be to organize, consolidate, and tidy that corner in particular. It feels like... avoidance? I'm unsure what I'm avoiding, though... it still needs to be done, so I'm gonna give it a go and if I come up with another project idea, I'll note it down for next week.

I really need to keep reminding myself that this is a year to experiment. To figure out my own work processes & how to harness my curiosity, because the scatter-shot way I've been doing has not been terribly effective.
