Some Steampunk Airplanes 🛩️

Background for the steampunk au if any at all: Claire has an equivalent of student license and her first vehicle in the adventure is the second hand steamship one. It's not actually made out of wood but meant to evoke that vibe of first gen steam ships. It's dinky and old but propels on the sea too. She uses it to do delivery odd jobs around town.

She stumbles into a noble boy, Desmond, who hires her questionable quality of service to get him to catch the blip he missed.

In the middle of their adventures they bit out on more they can chew and get into some trouble!

Luckily they escape with the second airplane: the beaked hot rod. A work of art they probably stole it and should return it... It's speedy! But maybe too flashy. It's inspired off those cool, sleek motorcycles

The last is an old reliable long distance airplane. This one they probably got legally in the middle of their adventure. Inspired of mopeds.

The unique circumstances of OTHER-GIRL, a 15 page comic about the one of a kind coming of age experienced by a girl named Isabelle as her third eye opens giving her the ability to see mysterious monsters she dubs the Others.

I made this intending to submit to a local monster themed art/writing anthology. I don't know if it will get accepted yet but I'd love to share it when it's done either way. It's not going to replace DesClaire. I just took a break from working on a major thumbnail revision. And the anthology's deadline is due January 30. that's why I'm trying to get things done before my Christmas break. As of writing I'm done inking 11/15 pages.

Working on this as a break really helped me decompress and streamline writing comic scenarios actually! It helped a lot not having baggage on a story. And I could hone in harder on subtext.
