Doomguard by kerem beyit
Doomguard Encounter (Morno / Bradley W Schenck, The Arduin Grimoire Vol II: Welcome to Skull Tower by Dave Hargrave, Grimoire Games, 1978) A doomguard is an animated suit of black plate armor, introduced in the first Arduin Grimoire, 1977.

[Commissioned by @crazytrain48. The doomguard appeared in the very first Arduin Grimoire in 1976. The dread guard is a very similar D&D monster, and I’m not sure when it first appeared, but odds are pretty good that it was “inspired” by the doomguard here. The arcane variant is inspired by a line in the Arduin Eternal Bestiary. Might I suggest magic missile, displacement and cone of cold as the 1st, 3rd and 5th level spells?]
Doomguard CR 8 N Construct This tall automaton appears as a suit of black plate armor trimmed with silver. Its plumed helm is set with an immense gem in the center of the visor. It carries two oversized swords, one in each hand.
Doomguards are relentless constructs built by casters who favor maneuverability and precision over size and power. Since they are smaller than most golems, doomguards can fit into cramped quarters easily, and their inherent teleportation abilities allow them to maneuver in ways that other constructs cannot. Doomguards fight with paired weapons, usually bastard swords, with which they make scissor-like attacks.
Arcane Doomguard Some doomguards have spells programmed into the gems on their heads, allowing them even greater tactical flexibility. An arcane doomguard uses the statistics of an ordinary doomguard, except that it gains three spell-like abilities: a 1st level spell usable at will, a 3rd level spell usable three times per day, and a 5th level spell usable once per day. The save DCs for these spells are calculated using the doomguard’s Charisma modifier and the caster level equals the doomguard’s Hit Dice. An arcane doomguard costs an additional 10,000 gp to produce, and the three spells imbued are added to the construction requirements. An arcane doomguard is a CR 9 monster.
Constructing a Doomguard Doomguard construction requires the use of a masterwork suit of full plate armor (worth 1650 gp), and mithral filigree worth 5,000 gp. CL 12th; Price 46.650 gp (56,650 for arcane variant) Craft Construct, cat’s grace, dimension door, false life, geas/quest, caster must be at least CL 12th; Skill Craft (armor) DC 20; Cost 26,650 gp (34,650 gp for arcane variant)

Doublekik’s Odd Past
This is a backstory I wrote up for my character in a D&D campaign. His name is Doublekik and he’s a Grung Monk. The setting is Planescape, so it involves a lot of travel between the planes.
Our doomguard is gone!!!!!!!!!!!
But to be honest I feel my Doomguard will have fun during BFA.
Correct me plz if you feel anything wrong with my English. =)
