I’ve been in LA for 3 years now and I’m just now realizing how great Doomie’s is. I had the buffalo & ranch fries last week and I fucking died they were so good.

Vegetarian Day
@Doomies I consider myself more of a carnivore than an omnivore, and I never give vegetarian food a chance. But when asked to try a place in Hollywood that's vegetarian/vegan, I couldn't say no. I spent a bit of time on Yelp and found Doomie's. How could I not go to a vegetarian restaurant with a name like that? It also has pretty good reviews.
I got their chicken parmigiana sandwich with fries. If I had not known I was at a vegetarian restaurant, I would have thought that this was real chicken. Not only did it taste like chicken, it had the consistency of breaded chicken. It was good. Better than some of the real chicken parms you'll find in the Hollywood area. The marinara sauce is great, full of flavor and the seasoning really brought out the sweetness of the tomatoes, and I opted for real mozzarella instead of going full vegan and getting the fake stuff. The fries... crispy, golden, seasoned perfectly, and they didn't get soggy on my way back to work.
Will I go back to Doomie's? Yes. I have to try the rest of the menu. I need to find out what other vegetarian dishes taste as good as the real thing.
