A long running soap opera, based on the sims 2.
The third and final Sims 2 youtube series recommendation of the night is Doons99P's 'Pleasantview' series. (no tumblr that i could find) The link takes you to the playlist for the first of three seasons.
The series first came about about 10 years ago, then had a long hiatus and briefly for a few episodes came back. Sadly it's been on another hiatus for the past couple of years but I have faith it'll continue until Doons says it's cancelled themselves.
What is noteworthy about this version is that it was one of the first and very strong series that actually inspired others to follow suit with their creative viewpoints on characters.
At the time it first came out there wasn't many sims 2 series, let alone a Pleasantview one with a strong following.
I maybe should've suggested watching this one first but actually I'll stick to my current order because why not.
All three are amazing, the creators have worked very hard into making them and it shows. I take my hat off to them and I continue to happily like, and comment whenever they post a new episode. :)
