On September 27, 2021, the Mumbai market witnessed a significant rise in DOP prices. Trading sources reported that DOP has surged due to tight supply coupled and well-built demand in the imported market. The current price of DOP in Mumbai (imported intact) is Rs.170/Kg, an increase of Rs.10/Kg, from the previous price of Rs.160/Kg.
An elevated behaviour has been noticed in DOP prices these days. Reports of improved demand trends were noticed in Ahmedabad. Prices gained, mainly on account of limited product availability. On August 6, 2021, DOP prices in Ahmedabad (domestic intact) were assessed at Rs.169/Kg, a rise of Rs.4/Kg, from the previous price of Rs.165/Kg.
