I probably should be doing work at work instead of reading the work, but like. I do be reading rn (I am so sick of these reference books I'm working on it's not even FUNNY), and the current title is A Resistance of Witches, and did it not just throw the most BANGER of a line at me:
"There are Nazis everywhere. They just go by different names."
DAMN.
For context: A Resistance of Witches takes place during WW2, and follows Lydia, a witch, on her quest to stop Hitler's Witches of the Third Reich from obtaining a book that's giving like, necronomicon vibes, so they ARE talking about literal nazis. AND ALSO. With THAT particular sentence. The POC is talking about returning to the United States so. Y'know. TOPICAL.
