On one hand, realistically, the evolution of an actual relationship between Douglas and Horace would take a lot of time and care for a multitude of reasons that at the end of the day might not even work because with the lives that they lead they might just not have time for it (see: Donasha)

But on the other hand, in the style of the actual shows we're talking about here I think it'd be funny if they immediately just kind of click and Donald is just standing there like "What the fuck is going on here"

Oh yea, for sure.

Like, if we were to write a s3, it'd be a bit more of a realistic kind of, less rushing into it, more pining after each other a bit, but not being able to talk or progress much bc they can't see each other much due to the nature of their jobs
