This past weekend #chefwill of @miaandmecatering Phillys Premier Corporate Caterer came thru the kitchen in #shermanmills on his birthday and couldn’t help himself and started helping @yourhighnesskay_ and #yourboy as we were serving customers. You see we used to be in the same kitchen out west at the #dorancecenter and even though I’ve been in business my whole adult life I’ve never been in the food business. So #chefwill was my mentor the whole time I was there and I still contact him when I have an issue. Yeah I’m way older than him but he has been in this business way longer than I have and when it comes to growing and getting Better there is No ego or Pride with me. I just wanna be nice with it. Let me be clear here, we still argue and don’t see eye to eye on everything but that’s what we need from our people. I don’t need a yes man/woman around me. If I’m wrong let me know, that’s the only way you get better. So if your people are not allowed to check you. They aren’t the right people. #theexperience #letsgetittogether #yournetworkisyounetworth
