this is a list of anime from past seasons that, for some reason or another, i ended up putting on hold. i'm not interested in dropping them, but i don't have the time or energy to finish them quite yet, so they're just in limbo for the time being.

Carole & Tuesday - Spring 2019
as much fun as i was having at the beginning of this anime, i got it in my head that i would enjoy it more if i waited for it to finish then binged the whole thing. and then it ended and i forgot to do that....
Centaur no Nayami / A Centaur's Life - Summer 2017
i started this anime specifically because i randomly started reading the manga, and even though i'm much farther along in the manga i just haven't had the desire to continue the anime. its cute and fun, albeit strange and creepy if you look too closely at the setting, but it's still a slice of life and i don't take well to slower paced anime
Dorei-ku The Animation - Spring 2018
this is definitely a weird one, and not at all a successful anime with a 5.99 on MAL, however i got pretty far and pretty into how plain ridiculous the concept was that i do want to see how this story was eventually resolved. that said, this isn't a lighthearted story and is full of some very disturbing content so i've put it off for quite a while
Dororo - Winter 2019
i absolutely adore this story, setting, and its characters, and i honestly can't wait to dive back in and finish it! unfortunately i had a lot going on in my life when i first started it, so it got pushed aside for a while. once my current watch load lessens a bit i'll pick this one back up!
Eizouken ni wa Te wo Dasu na! / Keep Your Hands Off Eizouken! - Winter 2020
this one, much like Carole & Tuesday, i thought i would enjoy more if i binged it instead of watching weekly. and then life happened and i forgot to actually binge it. since it does have a slower paced story, it might be a while before i get around to it
