Spring Anime 2026

Haven't been posting a lot due to school and like its been hard keeping up with things. I have like 3 more weeks left until its over, so I thought maybe I start doing things I did in the past like watching seasonal anime! The only anime I've started this past year is Sound eurphorium but I haven't been keeping up with it (hope I will with this). The only reason I wanted to go back into posting more live blogging of anime was cause the witch hat atelier is coming out now. I liked the manga back in 2020 but haven't been keeping up with it so I basically forgot most of it (so I'm going into blind watching it). Other anime I'm watching this season include

I really like hiromu arakawa works, though I've only watched fma/fmab and read sliver spoon. I knew of the manga and was thinking of reading it when it came out but changed my mind and thought it would be cool to watch it

An observation log of my fiancee who calls herself a villainess

I read the manga when it came out around like 2019 or later or something. it was one of those otome iskeai where it flipped the perspective to the ML and it was different from the rest of the stuff that was coming out at the time. But not when it was a saturated field. I liked it because there was like few otome isekai that were like comedy and not serious. When it comes to otome isekai or any like villainous works (this maybe a hot take) I feel like manga its easy to find different stuff related to the genre then manhwa. There both saturated in there own ways. But when I used to read them a lot, it was much harder finding manhwa that felt different from older manhwa. There were just rehashing things. But with manga I could find like the most crazy scenarios. Don't get me wrong there are a lot of things that manhwa does better than manga (but its not really what I'm talking about). If you have qualms with my opinion plz let me know, I would totally like to hear your point of view

There were other anime I looked that peaked my interest but I'm probably either going to wait until there over this season or there on my list for manga to read:

I saw a cool edt of wistoria on tik tok a couple days ago and that made me want to read the manga so I put it on the list. Blossoms when drunk I heard about it online on twitter of decent yuri to read so I'll probably read it or watch it (cause I saw that the op looked good) in the future. So for the last boss queen I didn't even know a second season was coming out, most of the things on this list I knew where coming out now or were confirmed to get an anime adaptation. So I was surprised cause I only knew the first season. But I never watched it because when I was reading the manga it got axe due to the authors health, but I find out now that there's a light novel series and they have another manga. So I'm probably going to read the manga or light novel.

Came into this totally blind after people were hyping it up when it got announced and I loved the first episode. Despite the title, it’s anything but generic. Slowly builds up to the twist at the end and I can’t wait to see where this goes. It’s a lot more to this story than a simple office romance. Love a good sci-fi mystery.

OP BANGS. Might be best of the season so far? We’ve had quite a few bangers so it’s probably time I start playing AMQ again to flex lol. Reiko’s design is so good too omg the after the rain author does NOT miss with character designs. What a woman.

So right from the start the show kinda beat us over the head with the goldfish symbolism. Goldfish are used as a symbol of bad or short term memory. Not uncommon for office workers to flirt and be close, but Kudo just gave off this vibe of he and Reiko being way closer than they are. I knew something had to be off. The way he looks at her, messes with her, they’re cute as hell but it’s like there’s a history behind his actions.

That reveal at the end!! So clearly something happened to make Reiko lose all her memories. I wonder if it’s related to that Terra earth machine or what. It floating over Kowloon just gives Dead dead demons destruction vibes, like there’s this impending sense of doom. Surely that pharmaceutical company involved too.

THAT KISS AT THE END??! Wasn’t nothing accidental about that, my guy went back for the double lock at the end lol 😂 really excited for this where this goes.
