i'm p sure xkit accepts both, but if you add an asterisk after a word, so idk food*, it'll blacklist all content w/ the word food in it, so then people can tag things as food cw or food tw and it'll still blacklist it

i think people tend to use tumblr savior from what i know, which iirc does accept the [x] cw/tw thing?

ok so there are two options

put an asterisk after the word you want to blacklist and it’ll black all content/tags with the word in it 

get “tumblr savior” which accepts the more common (x) cw/tw format 

i would change my tags but i’d have to change my cw page and also i am already shit at remembering to tag things, so i think this is a better solution (+ so many people use the same format as me, i’ve only seen one do the tw (x) thing)
