Woah! That sounds a lot like me actually. I woke up around 2:30 this morning with really sharp chest pains. I felt like I had something spikey lodged into my chest. All I took was cold meds though, no steroids XD

Ouch. I didn't have any pains, just couldn't breathe. I couldn't sleep for quite some time. I had a raspy throat and mucous in my chest. It's been going on for nearly two weeks. My voice has been hoarse too. I sound squeaky and it's embarrassing, but I'm getting better. I'm now on cough medicine, steroids, antibiotics, an inhaler (apparently the infection is causing swelling, even though I've never had asthma - I feel like my girlfriend Haley, because she does have asthma and keeps an inhaler in her purse), and I have to use a humidifier at night to breathe. I didn't think a little chest cold could be so bad.

Actually getting over the same thing! I had to see Dr. McCoy for it on Saturday because I couldn't breathe. I couldn't even finish a sentence without gasping for air! I've never really had breathing troubles, but this was scary. I woke up in the middle of the night, dreaming I couldn't breathe, because of the same thing. So, he made me use something called a nebulizer or something that I don't know what it was and I just had to put something in my mouth and breathe in medicine, then I got a steroid shot and am now taking antibiotics and steroids. I never thought I would be on steroids. Oh well. At least I'll get muscles out of it!

Okay, I know they're not that kind of steroids, but I had to make the joke. Are you doing any better?
