hmmm, imma write for funsie. flonita, a little something soft, i hope.
titled: a good morning, indeed.
The first thing you wake up was the empty side of your bed. You blink for a moment, before rolling onto your back and laughing at yourself. Of course, you nearly forget that she have a morning run with her brother at ungodly hours.
You stay in the bed, comfy and warm as always. The sun on the right seems to wanting to pierce through the heavy shaded curtains.
(Florencia held up the curtains, smiling at you saying “Would you rather be blind by the sun in the morning or some dull light but enough to wake you up?” and you roll your eyes, and gesture at the shaded curtain, “This, only because I want to see if you get up early.” Then she chuckles, giving you a teasing smile, “Oh, you’re on, Neets!”)
You stay there for another minute, and maybe you could close your eyes... The loud bark made you snap your eyes open and snorts. You sat up by elbow, glancing across the bed to the door and you can see shadow underneath that door. It moves in a way that paws against it, and you can still hear the barks once more.
“Alright, alright, Bugs, I’m up!” You laughs, getting off the bed.
After making your bed, and fixes yourself up, you nearly fall back when you open the door and there’s a big dog coming at you.
Despite having a short stature, you managed to held yourself down as you grab onto Bugsbear who nearly knock you over and you laughs.
( “Huh? You... took taekwondo?” You hums with a nod and she blinks, “Wow, that’s...” She bit her lips and you turn to face her. “What’s wrong?”
“Well, that’s,” Florenca’s face turn warm and she laughs awkwardly as she leans onto you, finding her words until she speak, “That’s fucking cool, Anita.”
You feel your cheeks burn a little, then tilt your head, “...Were you going to say it was hot of me?” “What? No!” And the two of you laughs. Not that it wasn’t your fault when she once drop a basket of wheats when she saw you in a tank, or anything.)
“Hey, whoa there, Bugs, come on. Let’s cook, should we?”
It was only a hour later when you started making waffles, the smell of the flavor seemed to fill in the kitchen and into the dining room that is connected to. Bugsbear had his paws on the dining table, watching you with a excited panting of wanting food.
Then you hear the front door opened, follow by a loud bark and you knew exactly what happened.
You’re still on the waffles mission when you hear her voice.
“Hey Buggy! Glad to see me?” Florencia’s voice echoes from the hallway, then clearer when she enter the dining, “And they’re awake, you woke them up, did you?”
Bugsbear simply barks in return.
You roll your eyes, and you hear her shuffle into the kitchen. You do not need to know what she was up to and next thing you know. Coffee smell.
And even before you even knew, you feel her lips kissing your cheek as she whispers, “Hope you got some rest last night, did you?”
You blinks, nearly drop the pan where you were in the middle of flipping them over-- having to finalized soon-- and turn to see her holding her mug that had a tea bag into it, and yours that filled with coffee as you protests, “Flo, not in front of Bugs!”
She laughs as she walk over to the dining table, looking innocence as always.
( “You... are uncomfortable talking about it when it comes to yourself?” You asked, blinking as Florencia tried to not look away with a tint of shadeness to her face.
“It’s really not bothersome when it’s with you and me--”
“Alone?”
“Yeah, I... seriously hate bragging about it or like, you know, teasing you on our skills in front of people. It’s... weird, and just so awkward. I’m fine hearing others who have no shame, good for them! But me? No, never, I--Ugh, I’m sorry, it sound like I’m being selfish but I want-- Would you--”
“I’m glad you asked,” You leans back, against the headboard, “I think I like keeping ours private while we can be disgustingly soft and toothaching in front of others, if that’s okay for you?”
And you never forget how beamed Florencia was. And maybe, a plus on that the fact you did get the best night out of it.)
You had finished the waffles and had prepared them on the plates. You moved over to the table to settle down and you sit next to her-- you like being by her side more than being across the table.
Beside, she nudges her arm against your arm, and the two of you begin to chatter and Bugsbear is next to you and her, eating his favourite best dog food ever (with a bit of treat from the table but only once! You had warned him so).
because why not have some gays? this is stella’s pov ;”))
Stella blew out a frosty air as she hugged herself. The snow biome’s weather came, she observes, the world’s sure cold and quiet today.
“It is beautiful?” Stella turn around a woman with scars across her face, her bangs tucked under a soft beanie with a single braiding hanging over her left shoulder. That woman was wearing a little thicker coat than Stella who was clothed in a dozen of clothes because she’s very cold and yes, she hates the cold as much as she hate the heat.
Stella huffs, her arms still crossed as she reply with a scoff, “Not when it’s too quiet.”
“It’s only ten in the evening.”
“Still quiet today, Jessie.” She sassed and the brunette giggles. Stella look up and watches the darkness in the sky. She can see a dozen stars twinkling tonight.
Stella can feel Jessie approaches and stand next to her.
“But why are you out in a cold night, Stella?” Stella turn to look at Jessie’s curiosity.
“Just...” She trailed off, then shrug as the only answer she gives.
Jessie watches the blonde look away and her eyes staring at somewhere...
“Stella... What are you thinking about?”
“It’s not--” Stella bit her lips then mumbles something under her breath. Jessie frowns.
“Stella, what were you saying?” Stella’s ears were turning pink and she mumbles again. But Jessie nudges her and when she turned to see the hero, Stella groans internally at the pout. Petra was telling the truth about Jessie’s infamous puppy look.
“It’s my first time celebrating Christmas with--” She tried to compose herself for a bit, “Without the Champion City.”
“But you have Lluna.” Jessie cuts in, nudges Stella’s shoulder, then reaches for her hand, “And us and your new friends!”
Stella’s face flushes at the hand holding and look up to Jessie’s smile.
Stella just stare at Jessie, and then a single snowflake appears in front of her. The two looked up and Jessie glee joyfully. Stella just watches more and more snowflakes coming in and in, and then--
“Hey guys.” The two turned to see Petra, who was huddle in a big coat but she seems to tolerate the cold, with her pale skin painted in pinks and reds from the weather. “I was wondering why it was taking you too long to find ‘Ella.”
“Oh please, it was only a minute!”
“A few minutes you meant.” Petra grumbles and nod at her, “What were you even out here? I thought you complains about the cold?”
“I was!” Stella huffs and Jessie squeezes her hand. Stella look at Jessie and blinks at the smile, which she knew she shouldn’t exaggerate but it was the biggest one she ever seen and... Stella smiles.
“Your hair keeps falling into your eyes, do you know that? Here, lemme just—”
soft starter from the prompts i reblogged
"See?" Florencia smiles, pulling her hand away as Anita blinks slowly. That hair was tucked behind their ears, which are clearly red but Florencia thinks it's embarrassing blush.
Which was cute. But Florencia's smile turns to a frown as she notices that they haven't replied in return, "Uh, Anita? Are you okay?"
"Oh," Anita finally says after a second of silence (or was it a minute?), "Oh, I'm good. I-- Uhm, I didn't notice it."
"Mhm, you keep looking down and that hair of yours always fell, and when you look up--" She gestures at your hair, "It blocks your view, you know?"
Anita laughs, a bit of mixed embarrassment and something else that Florencia doesn't seem to put a figure on-- "Yeah, I knew I just didn't bother."
Florencia hums as she notices they were thinking about something else, "What is it now?"
"Oh, uh, I-- Usually I would trim it but, lately," Anita reached to comb through their hair wondering if that hum is her being disappointed or interested in what they're about to say, "I think getting a haircut is overdue, you know?"
Florencia blinks and tilts her chin down as she chuckles. Then look up at them, "I think so, you should do it."
And, I wonder you would be cuter? hotter? Florencia doesn't voice any of these as Anita gives her a bright determined smile.
when they’re doing something outside, it’s dark outside, and one of them views something pretty in the sky, like a shooting star, or just the stars in general, and they pull their lover by the hand, all excited to watch the shooting star, and their lover looks at them in pure admiration
ask me a prompt and i will write my flonita funsie! :)
When Florencia asked you to come with her to a field she knew you would like to see the stars... You didn't expect her to show you a shooting star.
The two of you pulled Florencia's pickup truck over to what looks like an abandoned parking lot. You asked how long it had been and she roll her eyes, tilting her head with a smile. "It's only for movie nights and other things like a carnival."
"Right."
You say, but you still follow her after the two of you left the truck, carrying a blanket and a basket which you eyed it, and she pats your hand off saying "Until we're there!"
Then you cross the parking lot to the hills up leading to the field she talks about.
You look up when you reached the fields, and you can't help yourself but stare at the stars. Bright, and twinkling.
"Nice view, right?" You blink your eyes and look away to see Florencia, having to lay the blanket down and the basket was opened, revealing homemade food, courtesy of the entire Madrazo-Cruz family.
You smile as she beckons you to come and sit down. The moment you sat next to her, she gasps loudly that she went "Look!" You look up and to your surprise, shooting stars.
"Wait, shooting stars are usually predicted on dates--"
"I may or may not ask Tristan if he knew when shooting stars come, without asking you of course, so, yeah! That's why I invited you over."
Oh.
You look away from the sky and you see her, her eyes twinkling at the shooting stars that kept coming. You can't help but feel the warmth in your chest as you watch Florencia smile, watching the stars.
soft thoughts at almost 3 in the morning; oc x oc for funsie!
You could hear the sound of the birds, the tattles of the people inside and outside of the buildings near you. You blink your eyes, and watch the waves pulled back and forth against the shore.
You’re leaning on the railing of a platform and when your eyes torn away from the ocean to the next person that was beside you. The first thing you take the notice of was her hair. Her wavy hair is unkempt and doesn’t bother to wear a ponytail today-- in any other day, she would wear it to keep it tamed but today, she was freeing.
The next is her freckles, spread across her cheeks and hazel eyes glazing out just as you did a while ago. She was lean forward, but her side is lean onto yours, as if she doesn’t want you to go.
You don’t go. You simply stare.
Quietness is all you and her need and she’s smiling-- it made you smile. Soft. Relaxed. You lean forward to lay your chin against her shoulder.
“Hey, hey.” You mumbles quiet enough for her to hear you. She glances at you, her smile stays as she raise a eyebrow.
“Hey?”
You stares at her face, eyes so focused on you and you couldn’t help---
“Florencia, I love you.”
She blinks. Slowly. Her smile get bigger and bigger and her blush begin to show across her freckled cheeks.
The camper van stopped in the middle of nowhere, and by nowhere, it was a cliffside with a parking lot that had a nice view.
“We’re still far from that state,” Anita frowns at their phone.
Julia can’t help to look from the driver seat, she sees how their hair is shorter than it used to look. If anything, they look rather handsome. Julia has to blink her eyes before she looks away with a slight blush.
“Well, we’re here, and we’re taking a break!”
The woman grins, pushing the front chair down so she could move to the back of their camper van. It was a good thing that the van was customed built, and it’s almost a little house on its own.
Anita rolls their eyes, watching Julia to ‘parkour’ as she would word it over to the back. The person shut off their phone and put it on the top of the dashboard, then reaching up for the front curtains they had installed-- which pulled down to be a sun protector- something Anita insisted to add and it works perfectly... for now.
When Anita finished that, they were going to adjust the chair so they can join her and stop in the middle of doing it.
“Seriously?” They tried not to smile and pretend to be bewilderment but their tone slid in an amusement.
Julia is lay across the bed they both shared, and she was in a pose of a lady that demand to be painted.
“Seriously.” She smirks, and Anita looks to see all curtains were drawn-- of course. That makes Anita turn into a tomato.
“You’re a dork.” They say, moving over and onto the bed. On top of their partner-- their lover-- their girlfriend for years to come.
“But you’re my dork.”
“Forever and in the future.” Anita ended their sentence with a kiss.
You glance over the cliff, seeing the ocean on the bottom.
The wind is blowing against your back and your hair is flying forward-- so was your wings. You stretch them forward then back, and spread out.
You had your eyes closed, just listening to the sound of the ocean beating against the rock side of the cliff. You straighten your back, feel your wings spread out more, then close it in.
You let yourself slip off the cliff.
The fall would have been fast, if it wasn’t for the fact you open your eyes the instant you fell, and you are-- were-- closer to the surface of the ocean that you let your wings opened and spread out and-- you flap your wings.
Upward, and toward the sky and you laughs at that.
You’re walking across the beach, and the stars were beautiful tonight. You hold her hands tightly as the two of you walk, chattering among you and her.
Your eyes glance away from her face to the ocean.
“Shimmering.” She comments as she turns to see the ocean, “The moon is really doing her job, huh?”
You turn to see where she was looking, and there, the ocean waves quietly into the night, and the moon shines its light on the surface. They are shimmering in the night, and it was--
“That’s beautiful.” You smile and you feel her hand squeezes yours as she grins.
