I'm having silly headcanon thoughts about Julita (from @inexplicifics AWAU), as a very young child, somehow conflating Grandmaster Ivar and "trained raised Uncle Letho" with "Grandpa Ivar" and WILL NOT be dissuaded.

Like with Letho, she hugs him whenever she sees him (or at least waves very excitedly). She chatters at him about whatever pops into her head. She mimics his so-frequent scowl. She has no fear of him or his strange eye, and in fact giggles madly whenever he dangles her upside-down.

Eventually even the Viper of Morgraig is worn down...by love. He allows her to shadow his footsteps, sets up a child-sized desk in his office, and pets her hair when she hugs his legs.

He may never say it, but her safety and wellbeing come to rank just below eliminating the Wild Hunt and protecting his school and lover.

(Even into adulthood, she calls him Grandpa. Usually only in private, as he's not publically demonstrative, but still. And he'll get the tiniest smile and pat her hand or arm or back and call her snakelet.)
