What are your other fandoms? (and OTps in the fandom)

Oh well I haven’t posted much content for them in recent months but I’ve been in The Hunger Games and Mad Max Fury Road fandoms!

In THG my OTP is Odesta (although I also really really like Joniss) and in MMFR it’s Nuxable. (I swear, I’m never gonna ship the main ship in any fandom I’m in. It seems to be impossible.) It’s a little sad because I have a lot of incomplete fic ideas for both these pairs (I REALLY want to do that freggin’ Fairy Tale Odesta AU) and I just can’t get over the hurdle of properly plotting. But even if I haven’t posted much I’ve met some FANTASTIC wonderful intelligent people in these fandoms that I still follow to this day and they are amazing and I am so happy to have met them!!

I just noticed, after all this time of following you, that we are both Ontario teachers! I'm surprised to hear that the LTO position isn't open for you to apply to yet because I thought there was a set date for those to open (end of June?). Though I'm sure your admin will want to hire you, but I understand the frustration of having to wait until shes ready to interview especially because of contracts. But you've got this!

June 27 is the date when principals can start posting, it doesn’t mean they have to. Technically they can wait until the last week of summer. Which is fun, because it means you start the year with absolutely zero prep, but oh well!

(and hahaha! small world! it’s funny because I am Old but just starting out, this is what happens when you get into it at 30, when I was a student teacher one of my supervising teachers was 4 years younger than I was ... very weird)

I just wanted to say how excited I was to see you updated a fic, as I was scrolling through the Free! archive. I saw that you orphaned Can You See Me? and was like "did she stop writing?! how?! no!" You are one of my favourite writers, thank you for still writing. I'm off to read that Sousuke/Gou/Seijurou fic :D <3

AhhhhhhhhhhhHHHHHH yeah I orphaned CYSM a while back because I'm never going to finish it and it was making me feel too guilty. I deleted a couple of fics and only kept the ones I'm most proud of. I haven't written anything in almost two years, so it's really good to be back. I always intended on finishing the merfolk fic lmao I don't care how many years it takes! I'm actually working on the next chapter at work right now >:}

Omg, the SeiSouGou fic is my personal favourite of all the things I've written, so I hope you like it! I'm actually working on a part 2 to that fic just to be self-indulgent, since I know it's a super rare trio.

Yay! I’m looking forward to seeing what happens. BNHA is really great. There’s so much about it that seems like it shouldn’t work, like it would be too cheesy or cliche, but there’s an authenticity to the characters that comes through everything and makes me care about about them so much!

fave kind of fic to write

3. What is your absolute favorite kind of fic to write?

To be perfectly honest?? Mundane and generally plotless slice-of-life fics where two or more characters can just interact and be themselves and exist within a space. The closest published work I have for that is A Million Ways to Say It (All of them variations of you), but I have some (multi-chapter) plans in the works……..

How much do you trust the reader?

This is admittedly my worst quality as a writer. I want to trust my readers, I really really do, but I’m not sure it shows in my writing. I end up just spelling out all the subtext and nuances, which is bad, and I really really need to work on the whole “less is more” thing.

I work at a tutoring center. I mainly teach ACT & SAT test prep, so most of my students are older teens.
