Ambrosia actually hits her three times: wrist, then knee, then hip.
all three of them bother her post-recovery but the wrist is the least complicated to heal because it isn't load-bearing
final fight scene below the cut, with some parts omitted and relevant bits bolded for emphasis
They fight, or at least they try. The wind and rain blind them, and the ground gives and tilts and once a three-inch flood of water crashes down from the cliffs and knocks them both sideways. Two girl's mace catches Ambrosia in the shoulder; Ambrosia returns with a wild swing that smashes the other girl's wrist. It's low and mean and ugly, and unless Ambrosia can find her footing she can't make a kill strike.
Two girl goes down when Ambrosia takes her out at the knee, goes down with a scream that pierces the air and shoots a shiver down the back of Ambrosia's spine. Two girl keeps hold of her weapon, the handle slippery with rain and blood, and she stares up at Ambrosia with hatred contorting her face, but this is it, this is the end.
Ambrosia's foot hits a rock, and she hooks her ankle around it and holds herself firm, bracing for the final blow.
Two girl raises her head, and she lifts her arm with the broken wrist and her hand dangling uselessly and pushes her sopping hair out of her eyes with the inside of her elbow. Her eyes are narrowed with pain and defiance, breaths coming out in gasps, and Ambrosia savours the moment.

The weapon crashes hard into Two girl's pelvis, smashing straight through the bones of her hip and shuddering to a halt. The impact jolts Amber straight through to her shoulders, and this time Two girl's scream splits the sky.

Amber stares at her in shock as the rain pelts her in sheets, but then Two girl grits her teeth and roars and then she's on her feet, somehow, weaving like she's drunk, and she still has her weapon and her arm comes up --
Two girl's heaves her mace through the air with the last of her strength but she's too short and her arms are shaking and her legs won't hold her weight and she'll miss ...
How tall is Claudius..? For some reason I have him placed at like 5’9 but it doesn’t seem right
no he's tall! like 6'2 ish
adopted AU claudius would be shorter, i think, because he doesn't get picked up until 12 and that's a long time for him to be in that situation (not the homelessness but gloria doesn't feed him properly)
in the normal one he has those years of being underfed plus half a year of living on the streets BUT THEN at 7 he's taken in by the program. childhood malnutrition is fairly standard i feel like so they start him on an accelerated catch-up. by the time he's living there full time as a kiddo he's essentially on bb macros with protein and supplements
he's never going to be BIG, like that's not in his genes no matter how much they try to bulk him up so eventually they quit that on that front, leave him lean and focus on speed & agility. they do get his height back up though bc his parents were both tall so it's not as much of a struggle once those early years are counteracted nutritionally
(i realize that with the steroid use i had a chance to make everyone from d2 short (lol) but i figure they pump height hormones first and THEN only bother with a cycle or two of steroids near the end)

I wrote that scene first before I wrote the full version but by the time I got there in the actual fic the tone & timing didn't mix. Selene was in training and Kit with his naginana was too lighthearted. I still like this version though :)

This might be bizarre, but I made Lyme (top left), Claudius (with the butterfly), and Artemisia (top right) in Tomodachi Life 2. I decided to make them take a cheesey family picture. Might delete them later to make room for other Miis but for now they're living a peaceful murder free life

not lyme that's for sure!! she'd lock herself in the basement until it was over
devon, emory, or odin are all good with kids. enobaria wouldn't be terrible either (mine doesn't normally mentor BUT she does run open mats with the centre kids and they think she's cool).
callista, adessa, and misha would respectfully (or not) decline. nero feels like he should but it would mess him up so i think he'd be convinced he doesn't need to with all the people who are more willing. ronan feels similarly. most of the others are in the "i mean i guess i could?" camp in that they aren't particularly good with kids but would if no one else would.
for what it's worth i feel like politically that would be a poor choice, the capitol is extremely jaded BUT they are the way they are because of patterns that lead to complacency. things that jar them out of the pattern tend to awaken latent feelings of "wait these are people". so like, yes that's very awful for the districts but idk if the juice is worth the squeeze back home
then again it's quite likely nothing would HAPPEN, there would be a brief outrage cycle and then everything continues as normal ¯\_(ツ)_/¯
