Background: They’re at a bar and Y/n went out to the dance floor to dance while Five went to get a drink. She said she’d be back after the song was over. She’s been gone for over ten minutes.
Warnings: Short.

Music blasts as bodies rub against each other on the brightly colored dance floor.
Five leans against the bar, placing his third empty glass of the night on the counter.
“Another whiskey on the rocks,” Five nods to the bartender before turning to look at the crowd of people again.
His wife had left over ten minutes to go to the restroom and she hadn’t returned.
Five often tried not to worry about Y/n. He knew she could take care of herself. She was a strong independent woman, but knowing that still didn’t make him worry any less when she was left alone when they were out in public.
Five sighs as he grabs his new glass of whiskey and takes a sip, scanning the crowd once more for his life long partner.
As if on command, Y/n appears, looking less cheerful then when she left.
Her arms are wrapped around her waist as if she felt uncomfortable showing her curves in the tight short dark red dress she was wearing.
Five raises an eyebrow, “You were gone a while. You alright?”
“I’m fine,” Y/n says, staring at the ground.
At her loss of eye contact and choice of few words, Five’s demeanor suddenly changes.
He places his glass back on the counter, placing his fingers under his wife’s chin, pulling her gaze up to meet his.
“What happened?” Five asks, his tone calm even though he could feel his blood begin to boil.
Someone or something had happened to her and he was not about to let it slide.
“Nothing,” Y/n shakes her head slightly. “I’m fine.”
“You're a horrible liar,” Five mutters. “Now tell me, what happened?”
“Someone…,” Y/n says as if she was still trying to wrap her head around what had just happened to her. “Someone…he touched me.”
Five’s eyes widen slightly before returning to normal.
He had the sudden urge to kill someone. Specifically the person that laid their hands on his wife.
“Where?” Five almost demands.
Y/n shakes her head, pulling it from his grasp.
“Love,” Five says, placing his hands gently on her hips, his tone returning to a more calming one. “Where’d he touch you?”
Y/n gestures silently to her neck and then her chest.
Five clenches his jaw as he notices the small purple mark on the right side of her neck.
“Where is he now?” Five asks, his eyes not leaving hers.
“He went back to the dance floor,” Y/n bites her lip between her teeth. “Can we…Can we go home? Please?”
Five seems to melt slightly, placing his hand on the side of her face.
“Of course, Love,” Five smiles softly as he places a gentle kiss on her forehead. “Go wait in the car. I’ll be there in a minute. I have to take care of something.”
His wife nodded before placing a kiss on his cheek and taking the car keys from him. She knew full well what he had to take care of and she didn’t exactly want to be around to witness what would happen next.
