Aidan stood along the familiar red carpet he had become accustomed to from a young age.
A mic stood a few inches from him as an interviewer urged to have a word with him.
“Aidan, if you had to tell us one celebrity you have a crush on, who would you say?” The interviewer asked with a bright smile.
“I would probably say Y/n Y/l/n,” Aidan laughs lightly as his face flushes a light pink color.
Aidan had always had a school boy crush on Y/n since he had seen her acting debut in a favorite show of his.
Y/n had always managed to capture his attention, not only for her beauty, but by her intelligence and humor.
She had a southern belle like charm to her as well that was impossible to resist.
It would make her act differently than everyone else, always making sure to include everyone in a conversation and saying exactly what was on her mind.
Y/n was the kind of girl people would write a song or poem about.
“Oh I know her,” The interviewer smiled wider. “She’s a fantastic young woman!”
“I think so too,” Aidan nods. “She’s an incredible person and actress.”
The same interviewer stood a few feet in front of Aidan, with a mic between the two.
“So what is it like working with Y/n, Aidan?” The interviewer asked with a cheerful smile.
“It’s very nice,” Aidan nodded with a smile. “She takes her job seriously and acts very well, but still manages to make us all laugh and smile on set.”
“Your series characters are engaged so you are bound to have onscreen chemistry,” The interviewer stated. “Do you think something could arise between you two because of that?”
Aidan laughed lightly, “I think she just sees me as a friend, so no.”
The same interviewer from every interview about Y/n and Five before was again standing in front of Aidan with a mic between the two of them.
“So Aidan,” The interviewer starts with a smile. “I heard that you and Y/n are finally engaged. Is this true?”
“Yes,” Aidan smiles and nods. “We have been engaged for about five months now.”
“Well that’s fantastic, and how did you get together in the very beginning of your relationship?” The interviewer gushes. “I know fans are dying to hear the original story from you.”
Aidan chuckles lightly, “The other members of the cast always wanted us to get together. They knew we would make a good couple and they were obviously right.”
Aidan turns to the camera for a quick wink before looking back at the interviewer.
“They all knew I was pretty much head over heels for her and she was the same for me, so they ended up pulling a classic romance novel cliche and locked us in her RV.”
The interviewer let out a laugh as Aidan continued the story.
“We then pretty much ended up confessing to each other and the rest is history,” Aidan finishes.
Y/n walks over with a smile, placing her hand on Aidan’s arm gently. He looks at her, his dimple more prominent than it was before as his smile seems to brighten by her presence.
“He was the first to confess and I was the first to take the next step in asking what happened next,” Y/n nods at Aidan.
“She kissed me off set that day for the first time,” Aidan takes her hand in his, placing a gentle kiss on the top of it.
Y/n lets out a small school girl like giggle at his gesture.
“Wow,” The interviewer smiles. “Well, the fans and I certainly agree that you are a lovely couple.”
“Thank you,” Aidan smiles, intertwining his hand with Y/n’s, beside him.
