"MAN WANTED HERE HELD IN ROCHESTER," Montreal Star. August 30, 1934. Page 3. --- Wanted here on two charges, one of attempted murder, the other of attempted hold-up, William A. Prest, alias Picken, the second of the apprehended pair who were alleged to have entered the Banque Canadienne Nationale, at Dorval, with the intention of robbing it is being held in Rochester, N.Y., pending the arrival of Provincial Detective Lasnier and Constable Moisen.

Prest is alleged to have been the man who wounded Henry Berryman, a worker on a local golf course, who tried to stop the hold-up man as he was leaving the bank. Victor Bouvier, the first to be arrested, was found in the yard of a construction company north of Dorval.

🚨 Beware of This Dishonest Vehicle Dealer Based In Dorval And/Or Montreal QC 🚨

In December 2023, I helped my dad, who is a retired disabled Canadian military veteran, purchase a 2015 Hyundai Tucson from this Quebec-licensed dealer: 9192-4555 Québec Inc. (Eurasia Motors), run by Zaza Verkhviachvili. The vehicle was bought for $11,550 after the dealer assured us it was in “Mechanical A1” condition with no issues.

I informed him in advance that my dad is a disabled Canadian military family. However, soon after the purchase, we uncovered multiple hidden defects:

❌ Suspension, stability & alignment issues

❌ Non-functional A/C

❌ Faulty cruise control

❌ Defective sunroof

When I contacted Zaza about these problems, he immediately blocked me on Facebook, preventing me from warning others via a review. He also falsely claimed that he regularly sells vehicles to Ontario residents and assured us the car would easily pass safety inspections—yet it required multiple unexpected inspections, both safety and structural.

💰 To date, I’ve spent over $15,500 dealing with these issues and am now pursuing legal action to cancel the sale and recover funds.

To support my claims, I’ve included a video in this post showing:

2️⃣ A recording of the transaction where Zaza, the dealer, is present with his companion, alongside my dad and me.

"AID OF PUBLIC SOUGHT IN HUNT FOR SUSPECT," Montreal Star. July 25, 1934. Page 3. --- Alleged Bank Bandit is Identified ---- Provincial police today are seeking to arrest William A. Prest, alias Samuel Healey, alias Eric Carleton, of Rochester, N.Y., alleged to be one of the two bandits who tried to hold up the Banque Provinciale branch at Dorval last Saturday, and one of whom, in making his escape, shot Henry Berryman, employed at a local golf club. Police claim that it was Prest who fired the shot. Another man, giving the name of Victor Beauvieu, is now being held at provincial police headquarters in connection with the crime.

Prest was at one time a prisoner in Danemorra jail, N.Y., which is an overflow from Sing Sing, and it was from this jail that police procured photographs and other means of identification. The description of Prest is that he is 31 years of age, weighs 158 pounds, and is 5 feet 6 inches in height, has light chestnut hair. He is a native of Huntsville, Ont., and is a painter by trade.

Provincial police announce today that in the event of anyone having any information as to the whereabouts of the alleged bandit, they are prepared to pay all charges for telephone calls or other expenses incurred in communicating with them. They also promise that the name of anyone rending such assistance will be kept secret.
