Hey, thanks a lot for the heads-up! I appreciate it. I looked through her blog before sharing that post, because the post borders on saying stuff that I’m uncomfortable with and I wanted to know more about the OP. My discovery after looking at her blog was that I strongly disagree with and simply cannot support some of her stances (even including certain things that are touched on in that very post I reblogged).

However, lately I’ve been actively trying to expose myself to more opinions/statements that offend or discomfort me, because I’ve learned that I can use them as a tool to teach myself a good life lesson. Seeing content like that helps me learn to be more reflective and analyze my own knee-jerk anger responses, and more importantly, it encourages me to do more research in order to support and strengthen my criticism in response.

I am grateful for your warning, though! It reinforces the opinion I had already been starting to form on that blog. And I think I’ll add a warning note in the tags of my reblog of that post, so that no one shares it without being fully informed. Thanks very much for giving me the motivation to do so.

Wow I always look the same on selfies my god. Btw I still had braces on the first 5 pictures and I used to hate to smile with my mouth open so yeah wow. Yachi had never seen this tiny sushi shop before but now she's in it, it seems like she made the wrong choice to give it a go - at least by herself - everyone working here is at least twice her height and -

"Sorry, you're going to have to repeat that," her waiter says and he's clearly amused since his smile only grew kinder each time she stammered incomprehensibly through her order. She tries again and this time he says, "Coming right up, I'll bring you some water too, okay?" in reply, he might scare her but he's not so bad, she thinks.
