Just finished Blindspot and OH MY GOD I have so many thoughts but the one that's at the forefront is Patterson, Rich, and Boston's rings?!?! So happy my ship is cannon RAAAHHHHH

Ok, so, did I already say that I'm a Zapatterson shipper? One or two times? Maybe? Haha. The thing is there is this other ship from Blindspot I began by belittling, but then it grow up in me and now is like my second favorite one, and in the multiverse it is possible so... I'm talking about the polyamorous relationship between Patterson, Rich, and Boston.

I didn't see how that could work at first, but then I read a few fics about it and it has so much potential! I mean it. I always loved their dynamic, being the three of them "the smart ones" with big egos that kept them fighting to demonstrate their intelligence and wisdom to the others. So I can see how that can evolve into a relationship and I really like the idea now.

But the thing is that I rewatched the last episode a few days ago, and I noticed their interactions during the last scene.

I mean... Patterson's hand interlaced with Boston's as he kisses Rich.

Also, there is this photo from the set, with the three of them holding their hands and showing their rings like... what? Do they get married? idk

I suppose that if this is part of Jane's hallucination, and so is the one about Zapatterson's wedding, I guess that Jane wanted to Patterson be happy, with love in her life, no matter who that love came from.

In my mind, Jane is a Zapatterson shipper, but now I kinda have too many ideas for this polyamorous ship. I'm not sure if I'm up to writing about them yet, but I can't stop thinking about it, headcanons are appearing nonstop.

Patterson, Rich and Boston + under the rain

One of @holidayblindspot prompts is winter weather so I remembered some time ago someone asked me to draw them being caught in a sudden downpour and this is the result.

I imagined this starting with a fight because Rich was supposed to brought umbrellas for everyone but he only took a little one and it was obviously insufficient so he just walked in the rain and started making a scene but then couldn't help but making some jokes about how they should've taken advantage of the situation and just kiss under the rain like they were in some romantic movie. Then things just escalated into dancing under the rain

I think my favourite fic that i have written this year, has to be Let Me Help You. A canon divergent, Blindspot fic set at the beginning of 5x09. Summery: “Patterson turns up at Boston’s apartment after faking her death but Boston quickly realises she didn’t get out of the bunker unharmed.” Rich/Boston/Patterson became my favourite ship out of any show this year. Their relationship is just so special and I wish we had gotten to see more of them together.  

MASSIVE CR SPOILER ALERT FOR THIS NEXT ONE!! After we found out that Molly, or should I say Lucien, was alive, I knew I had to make some art. I had drawn Mollymauk multiple times over the couple of years that he has been dead that i had to do so again now as he is back and seemingly evil. Check it out here over on my instagram! 

Next up, some more dotcrabson because thats all thats been on my mind this year! This was only posted a few days ago but I just can’t get enough of this ship. I used one of those drawing meme things that pop up on here every couple weeks. But i think what got me even more excited about this piece was Josh liking and commenting on it last night!! It’s just a little doodle of the boys giving their wife kisses but I am so happy with it and thought it was cute! Check it out here on my instagram!

I also made an edit for the first time this year! Once again, it was Blindspot. I used one of my favourite songs and my favourite characters. Once again, it is over on my instagram!

Finally, Like A Good Looking Modern Family. Summery: “Rich and Boston decide to talk to Patterson about how they feel. Set before the time jump in 5x11.” I wrote this pretty soon after the finale and finding out that the three were canonically married. 

This year has not been easy on any of us but the Blindspot and Critical Role fandoms have gotten me through it. Both feel like such happy families and I’m so happy to be a part of both. As I said above, Dotcrabson has not only brought me so much joy but has honestly helped me discover things about myself through research for fics and things like that and I am so grateful that this ship exists and is canon. I shall be writing and drawing more in the future, and maybe even for some other shows (I have already started a fic about The Listener!).
