3. Are there any fics that inspired you to write what you do?

Annoyingly, I cannot find the fic I wanted to link here, because most of the fic in my LJ memories have been deleted. It was a Merlin/Arthur BDSM au and it was the first fic I ever read that went into detail of BDSM etiquette and terms and practicalities and I ate it up. Without reading that, I wouldn’t have ended up writing Eyes to Serve, Hands to Learn.

15. Tell the author your favorite fic of theirs. What’s your (the author’s) favorite fic you’ve written?

😘😘😘 Gotta be Shadow Work. I’m stupidly proud of that absolute monster of a fic.

17. How obsessively do you sit and stare at your fic after you’ve just posted and wait for feedback?

I DON’T. Because I have lifehacked this for myself - I post right before I go to bed, and I don’t use my phone in bed because the light hurts my eyes, so I have to leave it. Then I end up waking up to comments and it’s a wonderful way to start the morning!

23. What’s your absolute favorite trope to write? 

Okay I was going to say soulmates, because I’m always a slut for a soulmate au, but then I actually looked at what I write and uhhhh I write a LOT of BDSM aus actually. Idk if that counts as a trope but I sure love writing about it! If that doesn’t count as a trope, then magic/fantasy aus.

hmmm i think... my big fat long johnruben fic. in the sense that it has it all like there's angst and smut and actual plot... covers all my bases

you know EXACTLY how i feel about the descent!! maybe one of the stickiest situations in film history. like even if you manage to avoid getting eaten by the oogie woogie creachers you still have to escape the unexplored cave system, and watch out for the friend you came in with, she's got a sharp tool to hand and she's seriously fucked off
