Dimitra and the Silver Mask, Part 1: Page 49
Happy Monday! Not much to say about this one other than I can’t wait for the days when I can draw pages with only one or two characters again. Remember when it was just two guys chatting on a walltop? Remember that owl? Dang, good times.
Confession time: I’ve kind of been flying by the seat of my pants for most of this chapter. I mean I have a script, but I kept having cool ideas and adding things and deviating from what I had written. I am now attempting to wrangle all these disparate bits into a whole, and I basically know how I’m gonna do it, but I also need to do a little prep work. So starting today, I’m gonna dedicate a little bit of time to conforming my script to the changes I’ve already made, and precisely thumbnailing out the last chunk of this chapter, so I will finally have an idea of exactly how many pages I have ahead of me, I’m thinking, between 10-14, but hopefully once I have it all laid out in front of me I can make some editorial decisions and bring it down a little bit. I am quite anxious to get past this prologue and into “Chapter 1″, which has been a long time coming. The script for chapter one is starting to get to a very nice place, and I’m looking forward to sharing it with you all as soon as possible.
