Double byler ❤️
They understand each other more than they realize 😌
I LOVE HOW BYLER AND JANCY INTERESTS BOTH CONNECT TO ONE ANOTHER.
Nancy is into journalism and Jonathan is into photography and we see how they both work at the newspaper in s3.
Mike is into writing campaigns and Will's drawings mostly include that/dnd related things in general.
Also Nancy and Mike both being into writing but Nancy is Into reporting and Mike is into creative writing. Will being into drawings and Jonathan being into photography, both being visual.

Thinking about Double Byler apartment
Mike’s at Brown for English Lit, Will’s at RISD majoring in painting. Nancy and Jonathan graduate in New York, and start thinking about moving for work. And Nancy has an idea.
Jonathan pitches it to Will at a diner one night while he’s visiting. They all pool their government hush money on a modest apartment, Mike and Will leave their respective dorms behind for their junior year, and get to be out in a way they couldn’t before.
It’s a shoebox of a kitchen but Jon painstakingly teaches Mike how to stop overcooking eggs. Will gets up at 3am for a glass of water and finds Nancy knitting on the couch after a nightmare. Will and Jon pass the phone back and forth while chatting to Joyce. Mike lets Nancy paint his nails like back when they were kids, before they ever had anything to worry about
They buy a shitty little Christmas tree for their Wheeler-Byers Christmas the first year when a blizzard keeps them at home, Mike and Jonathan exchange vinyls, Nancy knits Will an orange wool blanket, Will bakes a cinnamon babka
The two couples are happy and in love and with family, and there’s no explaining their shit about the cold and the dark to roommates. Just lots of movie nights and the growing Wheeler sweater collection and Jon’s record player and Will painting in the morning light
Jancy my beloved
Saw some people in the comments of a Steve edit on tiktok hating on Nancy saying shit like she’s a red flag and that Steve never did anything wrong
HUH
WHAT
Nancys a badass queen
Can’t be blaming my girl for falling out of love… (yes maybe she should’ve told him she was falling out of love but to be fair she was pretty preoccupied)
I just find it strange that it’s a show about outcasts and yet most of the ga idolise the one character who is not inherently an outcast.. in fact, not quite close to one either.. he’s a rich suburban kid who is popular and spends his days bullying and starting fights with outscasts.. (in s1)
I get it he had a great redemption arc but that doesn’t mean you completely disregard and deny that he ever did anything wrong
Part of what makes his redemption good is that he realises his mistakes and becomes a better person because of it. Ignoring the fact he ever made mistakes is just invalidating the whole point for a redemption arc in the first place
Don’t get me wrong, Steve’s a great character, him and robin are one of my favourite duos in the whole show, buuuut doesn’t mean I think he’s an angel who could never do anything bad..
Also if a guy who knew I was dating someone came up to me and started talking about a dream where he had 6 kids with me I’d legitimately run away and hide..
Thank you for coming to my ted talk
