(spoilers) Double crosses and Satan
It doesnt matter how you change Humper's genes. You're forcing Genesis onto him and therefore Genesis is going to blow his body up. Moreover, Genesis isn't complete. Theres a portion of soul and power missing. So of course it won't work. You Morons. As for Satan... If the Allfather dies, does Starr get the phone line to Hell? Would he inform him of their new Messiah? Cause I have some theories about that Angelville conversation.
I don't think Marie told her partner that she's getting souls from the Grail. I think the Devil believes she's going to die soon and that's why he agreed to taking Tulip. (Dc 1, 2: her deal w/ Satan, her deal w Jesse) I feel he either agreed to take both Genesis & Jesse, leaving Granma on Earth. OR he told her she could keep Jesse figuring once Marie goes to Hell, Sidney could retrieve Jesse for him. He doesnt realize that Genesis & Jesse are inseparable AND that Marie's grandson is THE preacher the Saint was referring to. (Dc 3: Satan w/ the Saint) Regardless of what they said to each other, I'm pretty sure Satan thinks he's getting it all. Makes me wonder how much he knows about Genesis.

“Charlie burned it,” Nolan said.

This is a powerfully strong opener to her new San Francisco set trilogy, packed with interesting…
