Tellllll me about your NaNo project??? What is?? How do????🥰🥰

My NaNo project is a queer YA romcom playing with the Cyrano trope and inspired by the drama of Shakespearean comedies! It's a Valentine's themed love story between two girls who are too doubtful of their own abilities to write love letters slash win their obviously out of their league crushes over and so have the letters written by two OTHER queer students who both start falling for the person they're writing to but THINK they're falling in love with the person they're writing as's actual love interest but are in reality falling for EACH OTHER and so are not swooning over a hot jock who's self conscious about being dumb but is actually surprisingly sweet or a shy nerd who gets flustered over cute girls easily but are ACTUALLY falling for a Cool Girl who refuses to have feelings and will literally bend over backwards to avoid the ordeal of being known and a people pleasing nonbinary teen who will put genuinely ANYONE before themself but deep down actually just wants to go apeshit AND they both have mother issues large enough to blot out the sun

before i go back to writing may I share with you my character attempting awkwardly to semi-reveal themself by sharing an inside joke with the person they've been flirting with while pretending to be someone else, while not realizing they're talking to an entirely different person who doesn't even know about those inside jokes?
