Looking back at the 2025 Eurovision contest, I noticed these two songs.
Malta's Miriana Conte, "(Serving) Kant" (which, disappointingly, is not about Critique of Pure Reason)
.
and Finland's Erika Vikman, "ICH KOMME"
And I'm not sure which is more noteworthy: a stadiumful of people yelling "kant," which, in Maltese, is a homophone for a word that would surely get a Mature tag slapped on this bad boy, or a stadiumful of people yelling "ICH KOMME," which, in German, can mean "I'm arriving," or it can mean "I am presently going to most vigorously reach the very pinnacle of physical pleasure."
I don't know what's going on across the water, but it is manifesting itself at the continent's northernmost and southernmost frontiers and possibly working its way toward the center.
Dear God, will no-one think of Luxembourg?!
