Day 15 was filled with a lot of class. I got up at 8 am and skimmed through the assigned reading, which luckily wasn’t discussed. In the first half of our business of acting class we were asked what our beliefs were. Not in acting, just like in anything. So I raised my hand and was called on first. I told my teacher my biggest belief was “If you get salmonella, then you straight up deserved it.” Everyone started laughing as if it was the most ridiculous notion ever. Maybe it was, I don’t know, I though it was reasonable. About a million cases of salmonella each year in the U.S. which is like 1 in 400 or 500; however, when you consider how many people actually deserve salmonella its not lot. (notice I took the time to look up number of people who get salmonella but not our own population. Whatever.) anyway, I was then asked if I had proof of this belief. I said no the feeling in my heart that this was true was proof enough. Now you the reader are probably curious where this belief came from. Well, if enough people tell you ‘Potle has salmonella every time you get a bowl, then those kinds of beliefs are formed out of pure retaliation to their comments. Nothing gets between a man and chipotle.
In the second part of class we had a casting director come talk to us. That was pimp. We learned a lot about how to prep for our showcase. Shit is gonna be lit, and I don’t even like using that term.
Next we had our on camera acting class which was cool. I didn’t perform but I learned a lot from my fellow classmates which was sweet.
At night, I tried to make a bird but our appliances were so slow it took just too damn long and didn’t come out well. I hate our oven. Late night just chilled with some friends, and started a new TV series, the path. All is good out here in Cali, thanks for reading. Stay sort of classy.
