Dear Mabel,

Hey, kid. Listen, I know your brother doesn’t trust me anymore… and I know he’s been trying to convince you to do the same. I know things are different - I KNOW I kept things a secret from you. My whole life has been a secret up to this point, but that doesn’t make any of this any better. You two deserved better from me; I should have trust you with my plan. You would have understood. I know that now.

I need you to trust me one more time, Mabel. I need you to know that everything that I’ve done and everything I’m gonna have to do… It’s for you kids. Without you, I’m just a sad, old man in a shack. I mean, I got Soos, but…
